Flowers

This past weekend was beautiful weather! It is finally reaching the 50’s and I couldn’t be more happy! Forrest and I spent part of our Sunday driving around and stumbled upon a really beautiful garden center.

This place had everything! Indoor plants, outsides plants, a garden shop, plant shop, bird shop, water gardening, custom planting, outside decor, and so many beautiful flowers, (real and fake!) I wanted to buy everything!

Flowers truly add something beautiful to a home. While we are living on a small budget as newlyweds, we really do try to have fresh flowers in our home while we can. Instead of getting expensive arrangements, we typically find smaller amounts of flowers that are on the inexpensive side and have them on our dinner table or in the family room. There is nothing like having fresh cut flowers in your home, it’s as if they can improve the mood of a room.

We didn’t leave the garden center with any flowers, but with a plant for our bedroom and we love it!

I LOVE Russells!! You have to go there around Christmas time next year- they have so many amazing ornaments. It’s so cute! I used to love going to the toy section and looking at the coy fish when my mom looked at the “grown up stuff” :)
